Teri began the River Embroidery business in November 2002. She has over 13 years of experience in the corporate world as a programmer/analyst. She also earned a certificate in Desktop Publishing from George Washington University. Combining these two led Teri to explore the world of embroidery. This business has allowed both of these passions to blossom into a thriving business. Below is a list of current expertise:

For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST) Robotics Team Mentor:
Commonwealth Governor’s School

• High School level robotics team participates in competition regionally and nationally. Primary responsibility is to mentor the 3D animation team. This team placed first in the 2008 Chesapeake regional Autodesk Design competition. Applications: 3D Studio Max, Illustrator.

• Design and produce the monthly newsletter in print and online. Design and maintain the church’s website. Applications: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver.
